Nemu64 has been under development for a long time. Starting with version 0.5 however, it's finally possible to play commercial games with Nemu64.

I couldn't test how good Nemu64's graphical compatibility was because my PC is just to slow to run it with graphics on. It's probably quite good however, judging from the screenshots on the Nemu64 site. I tried testing the sound emulation by turning the graphics off. I can say the sound is great!

How slow it is? Well let me put it this way: the PC which can run Nemu64 at full speed has not been invented yet. That's right, even the fastest Pentium III and Athlons of today are not enough.

After UltraHLE, Nemu64 is probably the best Nintendo 64 emulator available today. It has great compatilibity, graphics and sound. But be sure to use a fast computer and even than don't expect to get high speed performance.
