支持ZIP包
Visual Boy has ZIP support. This means you don't need to unzip your ROMs before playing. Just select the ZIP file and Visual Boy will automatically load the ROM from it.

支持GameGenie和GameShark
As one of the few Gameboy emulators Visual Boy supports cheating using GameGenie or GameShark codes. Please refer to the FAQ.TXT file for information on how to use cheat codes with Visual Boy.

色彩

Visual Boy attempts to emulate the Gameboy as accurate as possible, but too accurate in fact! By default the video colors are set to Gameboy colors which makes the colors look just as washed out as on the real Gameboy. I highly recommend switching to Real colors in the Options->Video menu, which makes the games look much better. Visual Boy试图尽可能准确地模拟Gameboy,但事实上太准确了。

The author of Visual Boy has incorporated the Gameboy emulation functionality in his GBA emulator, unsurprisingly named Visual Boy Advance. This means this version of Visual Boy is no longer updated, so please do not contact the author about this version.
Visual Boy的设计者已经在他的GBA模拟器中整合了GB模拟，自然就命名为Visual Boy Advanced。也就是说，今后这个版本不再更新，请不要再询问作者有关问题了。

系统要求
If you have reasonably recent PC you should be able to run Visual Boy at full speed. However you may need to install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX as Visual Boy requires at least version 7.0 of DirectX. Also Visual Boy may require you to switch your deskop video resolution to 16 bit color (65535 colors), you can do this in the Windows Control Panel, on the Settings tab of the Display section.
