Connectix's Virtual Game Station (VGS for short) has been reported to be one of the most compatible Playstation emulators available. Compared to other Playstation emulators VGS can emulate the most amount of games most accurately.
VGS is not freeware, not even shareware. VGS costs $49 and as such I think it's pretty expensive: that's half the price of a real Playstation, which has a 100% compatibility rate. It's also about $20 more expensive than bleem!

Also VGS doesn't enhance games like bleem! does. All games are shown in the Playstation's own resolution without any 3D enhancements.

Having said that, if you want to play Playstation games on your PC, you should definately try VGS. Another plus for VGS is that a Macintosh version is also available.
