| The PSEmu Plugins were originally
developed for the now discontinued emulator PSEmu Pro. Although the emulator itself
was discontinued, work continued on the plugins thereby making the emulator better
without actually changing the emulator. Since then other free Playstation emulators
have also started to use PSEmu's plugins, including ePSXe and FPSE. By using the
PSEmu plugins the authors of these emulators can focus on the real work (the Playstation
emulation), which means they can develop a working emulator fast.
